Audi Mission Viejo is the best automobile dealership anywhere. I should know, I buy all of my automobiles from them. I own or have owned 13 Audi’s since the year 2000. Ten of those Audi’s were obtained through Audi Mission Viejo. All 13 would have been but I didn’t live in Orange County at the time. If these guys sucked would I have been back that many times to buy automobiles or have my Audi’s serviced? Of course not. I’ve been called many names but sucker hasn’t been one of them…

The team at Audi Mission Viejo is exceptional. Literally everyone I come into contact with is professional, personable and responsive to whatever my needs might be. These people get things done.

Service:
The porters check me in and out of service efficiently, the service advisors and technicians take great care of me and my Audi’s. Never a problem, always above board. If I need a loaner car, done. A ride to the office, done. A helicopter ride to LAX, haven’t asked.

Sales:
The sales team at Audi Mission Viejo is easily the best group of sales professionals I have encountered. If you want to buy an Audi they will make the process as simple and efficient as possible. I recently ordered a 2013 RS5 and from the day I placed the order they have kept me updated on the status of the build-out. Every milestone – when it was assembled, painted, tested, washed, placed on a ship and when it will arrive. They make doing business with them effortless.

Just show up, give them an opportunity to earn your business and I am confident that you’ll have an excellent experience.

Very disappointing.  Called and asked to speak to technician.  Woman on phone said she could help.  Car needed tire replaced and I would need appointment which she made for next day, Saturday morning.  I had not been driving the car but a few miles because of tire problem and repeated filling the tire up and the warning light flipping back on..  Drive to dealership was the longest drive since problem started.

Turns out nail embedded in tire.  Get there, they say they don’t have the tire I need.  Seems that if I had spoken to a tech the day I called, I could have been saved a trip.  Also did not appreciate the sarcasm of the tech advisor.  They filled my tire and sent me to tire place down the street.  No luck.  Drove home slowly since the tire lost air quickly and passed Frank’s Motor Car in Laguna and thought I could at least ask if they could tell me where to get the tire.  He said he could have the tire there that day, mounted and car back to me.  Even gave me a ride home while they waited for the tire. Had the car back in 3 hours.

Why is it that a local repair shop that doesn’t even service Audi cars can do what an Audi dealership cannot and appeared to show more concern for a person walking in off the street than the Audi dealer who has serviced the car in the past?  I totally get them not having the tire.  What I don’t get is why I had to drive there to be told that and then sarcastically told that I had been driving around with the nail in my tire implying that I could continue to drive around that way.  The tire shop on the corner said something quite different when they looked at the tire and that was when they knew they did not have the tire so they had nothing to gain by letting me know the safety concern.

Left a message for the Audi service manager and never heard back from him, Strange since Audi is known for their emphasis on safety.  I’ve had Audi’s serviced in a number of states including this dealership and never had an unpleasant experience.  In fact, quite the opposite.  But this past Saturday, I simply did not feel safe in my Audi.

My sales guy Travis S. was helpful and very knowledgeable about every detail of the vehicle I was purchasing. The entire sales and financing team was a pleasant to deal with. Out of the door in a couple of hours with everything exactly I wanted. A very refreshing experience as far as car dealers go.

If you decide to visit Audi in Mission Viejo, ask for John Latko or Brian Hutchinson. These guys work together and cover for each other. Both are very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I was initially contacted by John through a request for quote through Edmunds. At the same time I also requested quotes from Hoehn in Carlsbad, and Audi Escondido. From the get go, MV was slightly lower than Hoehn, but very comparable. Escondido was slow to reply (actually, not until I called). Neither Hoehn nor MV had the vehicle on-site so I think they were both pricing the same vehicle out of LA. Visited Hoehn first on Friday and the salesman was very helpful there, but really didn’t seem to have as much flexibility on pricing as MV so I struck the deal with MV the following Saturday. John greeted us on our arrival, and offered water or coffee and made us comfortable. He went through all the options I was interested in to make sure the car we priced previously was still available. He then asked the finance manager Aaron MacSween to sit in and discuss extended warranty, paint sealant, and no ding warranty (all of which I was interested in). Aaron provided standard pricing for this, but didn’t hesitate to give me some excellent discounts. Since Hoehn was fairly close to MV in pricing, John talked to his manager and was able to give me a further discount which amounted to about $500. Since the auto was not at the dealer the day of the purchase, it was delivered the following Monday. John was out sick, so Brian followed up with the delivery. The car was detailed before I picked it up as Brian was wiping off the last few drops of water when I walked out to see the vehicle it was perfect. He went over some of the key features which was helpful and I left that day feeling I really got the car I wanted at the best price I could find. Audi MV was not able to install Lo-Jack in time prior to my arrival, but setup an appointment to have it installed at my work in San Diego a few days later (at my convenience). I’ve had to call about a few small details following the sale, and John has always continued to provide whatever info I needed.
